Proud new owner

Very pleased I have had a new toy. Happy happy happy,
But very sad to see the disco 2 go.

Hope it's more reliable than my wife's disco 3 we have had it 19 months ( still under warranty ) it's been in 16 times for repair and will be sold before warranty runs out so much so I still kept my 2004 d2 for towing caravan

That's a bit of a urination on Landybandy's bonfire, but if things go wrong, then they go wrong, sad to say.

All I was going to say was "Burn the heretic" for getting rid of the Disco 2

I've fixed no end of them but still love them to bits, getting my own when I can afford it

Just got one of those this week but still keeping the disco 2 though. Funny enough, only had the time to drive it once before I had to leave town on work, but that was one heck of a drive. The missus loves it to bits so I guess its here to stay.... until it starts acting up like others have reported.

To be fair I've had a lot over time go wrong with the td5. If this one turns out to be worse then I will give up on Land rover completely. Oh & I forgot to mention it a v8 & it's fooking gorgeous to drive. So engine is a proven jag engine only time will tell.

Erm no I still got the disco 2. But it is going, so it will be missed. Wish I could keep em both.
