First post in the Disco thread since i sold my Freelander and upgraded, so hello every one

I picked up my Prospeed roof rack today and have been looking into different light/mounting options, and one solution i came up with was the small 18W LED bars available on fleabay mounted just above the front of the rack, so that i don't have to cut (and potentially destroy) the Fiberglass wind deflector.
Has any one else bought and mounted these bars or anything similar, in a similar position?
Is there any advantages/disadvantages to them over regular spotlights?
and lastly, what's it like wiring in extra lights on the disco 3? as my Freelander was a right bugger with it's bonnet pod.
