Ok. Me UJ's knackered on me rear prop, as I told yer in a previous fred when me hand brake drum rolled off onto the hard shoulder of the M1... Anyways, Mondo happened to have a spare one which fitted ok on the back prop, but we broke it trying to fit it cos it was made by ****Part. One of the UJ's on the front prop also has a little bit of play in it. So I want to change that. The trouble is, the front propshaft has diffrent UJ's to the rear one. The UJ which was supposed to be for a 90/110 was about half an inch to short on the X pieces to fit in the yoke. I know Disco UJ's are slightly diffrent to Deepender ones, so could one of me props be off a Disco?? Anyone know the diffrences? I presume front and rear prop UJ's are normally the same??

I bought 2 new props a few weeks ago and the front one was slightly different to the back one. Not sure why.

size of Disco front uj's is 2 31/32" (75.5mm) across yoke and bearing cups are 1 1/16" (22mm) in diameter. at least mine are;).

So the UJ's are diffrent dependin if there on the front or rear prop? And its not just another 'bodge it' job from my landy's previous owner?

I have to admit i, myself have done quite a few bodge jobs on my landy but they wer all good ones...

In fact I dunt need to go out side an measure up if you tell me what the measurements are for a Deepender one?? Not that i'm bein lazy or owt.. Its cold up ere in Yarksheeeeeeeer an I dunt wanna go scrabblin about unner me landy.
