You could stick it back on the car and go for a bit of a thrape about... that should seperate the rest of it for you fairly sharpish - the yokes busted and I'm pretty certain you're not going to be able to weld it back up and have it work.

The VCU and props have obviously not been separated for years and the splines have corroded together. While you're waiting for replacement prop I would suggest some serious soaking in penetrating oil. Dann..

My brother in law stayed over at work for me to take it to him.

He tried it in a vice and it wouldnt have any of it so he got some heat onto it and then hit it a few times quite hard, it finally gave in and off it came :)

It had corroded together.

Its going to cost me over £200 to sort it now....

Why dont anyone sell just the bit that broke? :(

Refreshing to see the application of Good Workshop practices.

Nothing like haste and brute force

I can buy a used complete prop with vcu for between 150 and 250 quid or buy just the front prop and 1 x bearing mount brand new for £200...

I could buy the used one and then put my vcu and rear prop on ebay to get a little back.

Decisions decisions
