Hi to you all.
So that I can take my time fixing the front prop shaft Is it ok to run the Land Rover with out it.
It's a TD5 2003?

Not sure what you mine by putting in diff lock.
As I have not done this before I think you mine put in diff lock before I take it off? not sure y I need to put it in diff lock ? as far as know it should run free with out it just in two wheel drive.

If you don't select diff lock it will not drive the rear prop with the front one missing. Pretty simple really.
