Ah stop being a bunch of girls :p

BIG hammer and 2 chrome moly sockets and a good grip. :D

I have quite a strong right arm so that helps o_O:D

It's my front shaft leaking at transfer box. Shaft is in good condition, are the seals going to box hard to change/expensive?

Dead easy. No, not expensive. Automatic is a bit more of a pain but you're safe there. 4 bolts and the whole handbrake detaches and can be hung to the side. Roll of tape or similar to tippety-tap the new seal into place. Measure how far in the old one is before removing. Cannot remember how far, 3/16"?

I managed to get the propshaft off after 2 hours of WD40 and socket hammering, was just about to remove the circlips and it caked it down, this was the main challenge trying to get these buggers out!

You need to use something with penetrating capability. I use PlusGas as well but there are plenty of others. WD40 will lubricate moving parts and give a degree of temporary rust protection (ACF50 is far better BTW), but it is not a penetrating oil.

I found the way to get the circlips to move was a squirt of penetrating lube and tap the circlips round with a hammer and old screwdriver to free them up, then the circlip tool got them straight out

Acetone and ATF in a sealed oil can will beat any store bought penetrant..

G Glamp and some sockets, will see to them..

Hi all, after a weekend of finger nail loosing and throwing some tools managed to change the prop joints, however getting the shaft back on was difficult where the grease nipple was trying to get the nut past this was painful. thanks for all your help.
