Just a quick question really.. Why would one remove a front prop for everyday driving? Surely sticking it in 2h would do the same job but easier?

Often done because they believe it will give them vastly improved mpg.
In reality;
Make the vehicle unstable to drive as a higher 4wheel drive isn't good in rwd if not designed that way.
I've seen plenty of discos like it aswell, guess its not really doing any good also wouldn't they have to have centre diff locked? Sorry if that sounds stupid but diffs and locking is something I've still not got my head around
