So i went about taking off my back prop yesterday to fit some new ujs. I did the back bolts to the axle fine and got two from the front where it connects to the handbrake shoe but one of the threads is just spinning not letting the bolt come undone, the other also did this but i managed to get them of but this one i can't. so before i attack it with a hacksaw could i have some advice please because i have no idea whether this bolt can even be replaced:)

i seem to recall that they pull into the back of the drum. When mine did the I put a screwdriver under the nut to lever forward and the undid the nut.

its easy to split nuts along length with a cold chisel ,then remove drum undo nut with 30mm socket remove flange remove circlip fit new frc3602 unf bolt and new nuts nz606041l

ok i will give the screw driver a go, i guess it pulling it forward stops it spinning somehow, if not i will give the chisel one a go or hacksaw it. thanks for the help and i will let you know how i get on. just want it ready for any potential snow not that we will get any:)

they sit in flange and are held by the heads been tight against part of flange that sits over the output shaft get a sharp cold chisel
