Im after a motorbike I can work on and ride over the summer. Would consider anything from a Harley to a trials bike, old or new!

My Mate as Yam DZ175 for sale, works and all that just needs re building. Classic late '70s starter bike.

im contemplating flogging my 1150gs adventure if thats of any interest.

I have a Ducati DS1000 on 04 plate for sale - wouldn't be much of a project though because everything works.

I'd buy anything if I could make some money on it!!

To be more specific I want something I can play with without having a ton of money in it!

well its cheap at £3500

I'm thinking about getting rid of my 2001 929 'Blade which i don't have time for at the moment and is currently a non starter due to fuel pump issue. I've known the bike Since 2011.

Let me know if you may be interested.

I have had success with a couple of old XT600s. If you keep an eye on ebay you can bag one for £500. Everything is agricultural and pretty much bomb proof and you won't struggle to find spares and consumables which are cheap.

Fairly capable offroad and an absolute hoot on twisty A and B roads, the only drag is long motorway trips where the vibes from the massive piston get tiresome.

Done up they go all day long for £1,000+, even 1984 ones.

Preferred is the electric start XT600e from 1990 onwards. Prior to that they were kick start and that can be too much like hard work while you are dialing in carbs, fueling etc.
