hello all , has anyone ever experienced problems with magnacor leads ?
the leads i have fitted at present are only 6mths old bought of a guy on ebay brand new .
running on petrol is ok but, on lpg it runs a bit poor , ive gone through the lpg system and also checked the settings on my laptop using the lpg software all seems to be ok.
the other night however i was on a very dark road and thought i would check to see if there was any signs of tracking out from the leads , i opened the bonnet and was gobsmacked to see what resembled blackpool illuminations  the leads where flashing all over the damned place .
i find it a bit curious because the lleads are so new , they are clean , and all clipped up to seperate them .
given the cost of these leads im a bit f*cked off to say the least and wondered if anybody else had had any problems using these leads ? .
magnacor leads are supposed to be the best on the market and best suited to lpg conversions and many lpg installers fit them as a matter of course .
have i just got a bad set ? or are they not what they are cracked up to be    .

i got some last year, no problems at all on petrol or lpg!
im wondering if there genuine? send them back to magnecor and let them have a look! may be there copies?

what plug gaps you running? 4.6 on lpg should be .7mm, i would guess you need to recuce the gap on most motors on lpg due to the nature of gas being dry!

hiya red, i wondered the same thing about them being copies mate ??? on the subject of the plugs they are set to 0.7 and are less than a week old .
rick.

hmmm! did they come in the magnecor box? maybe worth sending back to manecor but be prepaired that if they are coppies magnecor will do nothing apart from confirm what they are!

would seem to be copies to all be this bad!

yes mate the magancor leads were fooked mate , what ****e`s me off is i didn't pay peanuts for them , and they were packaged in the magnacor box , i could have coped with one lead failing but when i lifted the bonnet that night it looked like a bloody laser light show !!!!!!!!!!!!.
i got a new set of lead that my local indy swears by £18.00 and its running like a Swiss watch .
am gobsmacked tbh everyone sings the praise`s of magnacor leads , i for one will never use em again , and for what good it`ll do i shall be writing to the company i bought them off .
it would seem from the lack of response to this post that everyone else who uses them has never had a problem , it must just be a bad set that i got ?????.

I have a set on my classic that I use with a MS/EDIS 8 set-up (BIG spark) and LPG with no trouble at all. Got them direct from Magnecor though, maybe yours aren't genuine as you say, or otherwise faulty.

I should ask for your money back. Best of luck.
