Probably a few bits to check worth having a diagnostic tool to pinpoint the problem. Few of the regular Freelander drivers will be able help shortly.
Fuel rail, air, pump, sensors failed. Voodoo doll by ex partner with pins still in who drives an Evoque. o_O

You offer all those services as well as LZ resident cartoonist. You must be a very busy person. Erm, do you get any many customers? :D

Thanks its had a computer on at garage but not showing up anything but i literally dont have any clue when it comes to cars

When you say its been on a computer, do you know if they just checked for any error codes or did a diagnostic of fuel pressure etc?

Does it start quicker if the engine is warm and once started does it run fine with no noticeable loss of power?

Did you buy it privately or through a garage?

Aye you got to earn your keep on Landyzone these days. Since the incident last time with landyzone police. I am on forum community service doing unpaid drawing cartoons.

Hi its had diagnostic on and no error codes have came up, once its starts its fine no loss of power, i bought private but car had been warmed up when we got there and yes starts quicker when warm our friend has a garage and put diagnostics on which showed nothing then took injectors to diesel solutions and they said they were fine

When was the last service history and Mot. If nothing showing up warm only cold then fuel not getting through okay.

Almost impossible to say without the vehicle being in front of me.
By a while to start, how long are we taking? And what year is it?

It's unlikely to be glow plugs, as those aren't used for cold starting in the summer.
It could however be many things, from a leaking O ring in the fuel supply line, to a blocked or faulty fuel filter, dirty air filter, split in the intake pipe, split boost pipes, faulty throttle body, or even a failing engine earth lead, or faulty battery.
The Freelander 2 is a complex machine, where everything needs to be spot on, or it starts to perform below par.

Oh and the first rule of buying a car is, suspect an issue if its been warmed up in advance of seeing it. ;)
