Problem PLEASE HELP!!

hello,

small problem with my discovery none of my lights,dashlights,horn or hazards will work. however indicators work fine.... no fuses have gone and have changed the stalk still nothing checked the relays and in doing so the car will not start now but can still get lights on dash when ignition is on.... it has been sat for the past month and a half as i have been off on honeymoon then with a dislocated shoulder :(.
Started first time the other night but just no lights was only last night it wouldnt start.

PLEASE HELP! any advice is greatly appreciated :confused::confused::confused:

is a L reg Disco 1
 
check the wiring under the bonnet on drivers side inner wing u will have to get rid of the cloth shething in side are fusible connections they will be corroded 1 + will be broken i had same problem fixed in 10 mins

apparently they dont on a L reg mk1 disco
 
mine is an L reg 93 200 tdi and they defo do cos i had to redo mine for the same reason lol
on drivers side from bulkhead mine were about a foot towards front grill clipped to inner wing i just cut em and joind wi block connectors insulation tape and then sum ov that nasty orrid sticky gass pipe tape that was 2 yr since never looked back lol

yeah L reg 200tdi. another theory we have is a lot of people have said its a switch or something behind the indicator stalk. so getting that from discovery breakers for 10quid plus relays to change out as they are all original one.

m1hgv- will check around there then on thursday and report back

That reminds me, I replaced the column switch gear on a 200 cos it melted ages ago now tho! Can't remember what it stopped working tho!
