Hello Mates,

Where is the D1's Pressure Reducing Valve (commonly called a Proportioning Valve in the US) mounted on a non-ABS model???

I need to know because I want to fit one on my RRC, along with a D1 MC and Servo. I understand this is the best way to convert an RRC from ABS to non-ABS. DPO ripped out the ABS stuff and fitted a poorly matched MC.

Anyway, does it mount to the frame or fender? Does it need to be below the MC? Also, am I correct thinking the pipes from the MC go to the bottom of the valve body and the three outlets are on top?:confused::confused:

TIA,

jon

I was elpin me mate replace the brake pipes on his 200TDi Disco the other day. His valve is mounted on the inner wing, just below the master cylinder.
