Hullo,

I'm doing a trip to Wales and back next weekend; will be about 900 miles ish in total, mostly motorway and A roads.

Asside from the usual oil, coolant, tyres are there any Hippo specific things I should check on in advance to prevent any unpleasant surprises on route?

Thanks as allways :)

Having just done a 700 mile trip in mine a few days ago.

Check all the fluids, oil, coolant and make sure the washers are topped up as you can go through loads of it at times. Check all tyre pressures inc spare.

Take some spare bulbs just incase and have an RAC/AA card. Just incase.

Otherwise, i just filled with Vpower diesel and 2 stroke and stuck some decent tunes on the ipod for the wireless transmitter thingy.

Splendid, thanks for the tips.

I'm surprised no hillarious people from the other areas of the forum have said "make sure the doors don't fall off/ check you've got your hairdresser's kit etc"

Good point. Where is everyone?

OK, here goes: check you've got your matches with you in the likely event that you need to BURN IT!!!!

OMG PMSL LOL it's all SO feckin funny
