pre and post JA032850?

Im looking for bits for me reg aug 91 disco could anyone tell me whether the bits needed would be up to ja032850 or from ja032850 ?

check your VIN number...the second part starts with something eg J then an A then the serial number. Have a look here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/richard.martin/discovery/vin.gif yours should be pre JA

my vin starts with SA so pressume parts after JA?

Are you looking at SAL, at the beginning of the VIN? The VIN finishes with numbers and just before the numbers are two letters, yours should be HA...check the link I posted to see what I mean
