Powerfold Mirrors

Hello All

I have a 03 plate TD4 ES with Powerfold Mirrors. They both fold in OK but it can take several goes to get the driver's mirror to unfold completely, the passenger mirror works alright. Any ideas? Thanks for looking.

Nobody had experience of this one? Is it mendable or will it be a new mirror? Thanks.

Some people have found that replacing the switch solves the problem.
Mine does the same, but not all the time. If it gets worse I think I'd change the switch first.

Hi

Does it move partially or do you need several attempts to get it moving?
If it moves partially it may be a small stone chip or dirt creating some friction. Or... if you have chrome covers, they are rubbing! Don't ask how I know

my drivers side mirror sometimes doesn't go all the way out, only about 2/3.
