powerfold mirror wiring

I would like to find a way but I don't think it is possible the lock goes live for a few seconds but the super lock wire also goes like for the same time

You would think if it had 2 wires they would be live at different times otherwise might as well of used 1 wire

Hi Guys...I have been following this thread from the start with interest. I too have disabled the SPE-the original set up was a right pain !!
I would very much like to see the outcome of this project as I also would like the mirror fold function to work off the keyfob.
Regarding the CDL lock and superlock operation-is the signal to lock and superlock a "One shot" or momentary signal...OR Is the voltage "Held on" to the CDL motors for the duration that the car is locked ?

The door locks are pulsed one way to lock and the other way to unlock. Matt is getting a double pulse on lock, this is upsetting the mirror activation. I don't have this double pulse on my setup. Mines got some diodes in the circuit which might be helping?

If both your wires are live at the same time something is wrong. You cant have the right wires. Where do you get your feed from?

Was the orange and the brown/pink almost next to each other on the connector(6pin grey). Only one black wire between the pins?

I'm wondering if your BCU has a relay sticking or something.
I'll look out the wiring diagram I made when I did mine. Was some time ago now, but it's"safe" somewhere!!
I'm sure mine is connected to pink and orange. When it locks pink goes live. When it unlocks orange goes live.
I've fitted diodes into the circuit to prevent back flow of current but that's probably overkill.

Where do I start looking for this problem

If someone doesn't mind taking the kick panel off in there footwell either side has it

There's a grey connector with wires

Get a light tester and check orange for unlock pink for lock and brown with pink for super lock but check the super lock and lock for working when the other is pressed for me

Don't wmt to look into my car if it turns out everyone's is the same

That would be great mate

Don't wnt to go looking for a fault if everyone's does the same

I'll test it out with a test light. I'm sure when I did mine, I found that the lock and unlock only pulsed once per cycle. I'll check later.

the unlock only pulses when the unlock button is pressed its just the lock and super lock that seams to work on normal and otherway round

Problem for me is solved

Using the hawkeye I checked all the programmable stuff

My car double locks on 1 single press of the key fob instead of 2

This makes it easy now because my mirrors will never go out of sync unless I press the button myself

Hi Matt...what about the Unlock...Is that also a single press ? (SPE disabled).

I can't have a look at mine with the Rovacomlite because the car is up the garage waiting for a new fuel pump & filter which should be here this afternoon.

As soon as this project is sorted, i look forward to seeing a "How to" posted.

Good Luck :pop2::pop2::smokin::tea:

Yeah will do a how to guide once I have it all sort as the wires were on temp until I could figure it out and haven't had chance today to finish plus my interet isn't working so on 3G
