hi new to this forum and just a quick question as i have had no luck. does anybody know were i can get a picture of a breakdown on a freelander power steering rack or does anybody know how to take out the section were the intake pipes go into as i have threaded one of them :doh: so need to replace that section

can't you try heli-coiling the damaged thread or use e-zlok threaded sleeve in both cases require drilling and tapping the next size up so removal of rack

Sounds like the return pipe that runs to the LHS of the rack, I have a spare pipe
