Power steering pipe

I have power steering to a 1992 Defender.
One of the two pipes below the reservoir appears to be leaking. Can I just use any old rubber pipe to replace the existing rubber pipe?

aslong a its oil resistant,not all hose is,its pump to box thats high pressure
