Hi everyone,my name is allison i am new to this so sorry for mistakes.
I have had my T reg freelander for 12 months and in this time i have had the head skimmed, renewed 2 sensors in the engine, had new distributer cap, rotor arm and leads, full engine flush, new filters, new oil and also a new catalytic converter.
I still have the problem which is; When the engine is warm all power goes from the gas pedal but doesnt cut out when i change down a gear power will come back but once i get to second gear i have to stop for ten minutes. When i have to do this the temperature reading is normal. when i loose the power on the pedal the rev counter shows normal.
i am close to pulling my hair out, please help.

Hi its allison again thanks for all the advise but still got the problem got to get shot of it now.Can anyone tell me what the freelander diesel is like ,any faults on that

Have you replaced the sensor (Petentionometer) on your accelertor pedal as suggested by Ming, with the problem you describe that is what is faulty.
