Hi Guys
So, I have a Defender 2.4 TDCI 2009 and its been a treat - never had an issue. However, I have since developed an issue on the Freeway and the Landy power cuts out to idle.
If I stay below 80 KPH it seems not to do it as much anything over that and I can get a random power loss. If I floor it (while its dropped back to idle) it seems to come back a fraction quicker than if I take the foot off the pedal. If I am travelling at 100 KPH after about 15KMs it will just drop back to idle and the speed will drop to about 80 before she comes back to normal revs. This can happen multiple times on a freeway trip.
Seems ok on 70< posted roads. I changed the maf as that was the first suggestion but stays the same.
Giving the shout out for any suggestions. Rail pressure seems ok but haven't caught it when it drops.
