possibly buying land rover series 3 with kansas top hardtop needed west midlands area

i'm thinking about buying a canvas top series 3 and am hoping to convert it into a hard top very soon after , is there a good availability of hard tops and does anybody know where they are readily available in the west midlands area for approx £150 as i'm hoping to turn it into my everyday family vehicle

normal swb hardtops arent dear just yet you will pay a premium for a cat flap type 1 though normally you will get a hardtop for £80 to £100 off ebay

Be patient when looking, supply and demand are never in the same place. I had to give my hardtop away when I needed the space.

+1 just keep looking, if you are prepared to travel to get it - most people won't even try to ship that - the off the beaten track s3 ones can go cheaply

series 1 hardtops usually sell well but s3 ones are abundant by comparison

wait till later in the year so you can drive topless and whack it on when you get there
