portable jump starter

Hi there

I have just bought a portable battery jump starter, its a little bigger than a smart phone ,it charges laptops, phones etc., can be topped up via the ciggy socket, and guess what it actually works ,it successfully jumped started my Westfield this morning.im impressed??

You must have a big smartphone

nope, about 8 inches long 3.5 wide and about an inch deep fits in a pocket with ease

I have seen similar and thought about getting one as an alternative to leaving a big bulky one in the back of a series, which one did you buy?

How big was the engine and how flat was the battery?

The one I bought was a Suaoki T6 about £37.00

The Engine is a Toyota 16oo twin cam The engine turned over but only slowly. The device got it cranking at about twice the speed
Normally I would have to plug into the mains for ten mins or so to get it started.
The jumper is not designed for prolonged cranking ,but as a booster. Apparently its good for diesels up to 3litres ..

No but readily available on amazon ,vids on u tube etc.
