porous block?

Hi guys Iv heard that P38's have a problem with porous blocks, where they have been skimmed so thin?
Iv found a product called Irontite Ceramic Motor Seal on Ebay, has anyone used this as a cure or a preventative?
Sounds great on the tin, I don't have a porous head but was looking to use it just in case!

my mate put some in his 4.6 about 18 months ago, and its still going strong. they recon that stuff is good for 20000, i personally would try and source another engine/block just for piece of mind.
