went laning with a friend and his mates from the Pants OffRoad club yesterday:D
started at Cherhill across to Malborough and then ended up near Silbury Hill
morelaningmay24012.jpg

our poor little series looked like a dinky toy next to the lifted discos and monster diahatsu:eek: but little Pig kept up and only got stuck twice, and that was right at the start when Hubs didn't really know what he was doing and how hard to push her, once he relaxed a bit and let her do her thing we got on just fine
had the kids with us too and my 10 yr old son took this bit of vid from the back lol

he loved it but me girl was a bit worried , she'll have to learn to love it or go stay with friends lol cos we'll defo be doing it again:D

Hey Brilliant! Laning is a whole lot of fun... and when the people you are out with are really good too it can make for a great day.

Don't be worried about Little Pig, smaller lighter vehicles often trubdle strtaight through areas that us discos get stuck fast in!

I also have a ten year old who loves laning. In fact during the last year since we started he has fallen in love with land rover completely and now has a series III of his own in the front gardent that we are trying to restore together.

I really hope that you have a huge giggle with the folk from your local club, and remember, you'll always be welcome to tag along in other parts of the country when you find yourself far from home!

Cheers

landybird,

Don't worry about the capabilities of a Series III, mine will go loads of places a normal Disco or RR have no change of going. I normally get called on to do the rescuing.:)
I know the feeling from your vid, eyeballs rattling in their sockets.:D
