Polybushes, which brand??

I've decided that whilst i change all my suspension and fit 24spline axles in a couple of weeks i'm junking my knackered rubber bushes and getting polybushes. Anyone have any opinions on brands? Heard good things about Super Pro and of course Polybush but interested to what other people have to say before i waste my money

anything but britpart..........

original metalastic ones will last longer (especially if you offroad) but poly are easier to fit

Ah've bin tryin' out them flo-flex ones and they seem tae be okay fur now... better than the Deflex ones!

original metalastic every time for me - one tip, for the front trailing arms get the bushes for a 110 as they have double metal inserts in them and last a lot longer plus being stiffer give less axle movement

I fitted a complete set of Flo-Flex bushes to mine. No problems after two years and my motor gets used for heavy towing on and off road on a regular basis. Hardest (and dirtiest) part of fitting them was burning out the old rubber bushes.

Ok so it's now a toss up between, Polybush as MM4x4 have full sets on offer for about £100, Superpro (they seem to rave about them in LRM) and Flo-flex on your advice. My 90 is does about 150/200miles a week on the road but is also used off road at least once a week. It tows trailers a couple of times a month if it's any help.

I tow a loaded double horse box every weekend, a triple axle Ifor Williams 16' x 7' box trailer loaded with fire wood once a month which must weigh about three tons loaded (dont start about legal limits etc - I know!) and have also towed an empty 20' shipping container 200' across a concrete yard with no problems at all. I dont think you will notice much difference between the major brand polys just so long as they are not cheap Chinese copies made of recycled Barbie dolls.
Some peeps like them and some dont. Me I like being able to change them without the need of a press to get the new ones in. As for longevity I have not had them on my Defender long enough to comment but my Cosworth Sierra had them for more than 5 years with no degradation until some low life no brain scrote nicked and burnt it.
