I'm thinking of replacing the old bushes on my 90 as they are quite worn. I was thinking of putting in polybushes and just wanted to know everyones thoughts on them? Do they give a better ride than the genuine rubber bushes? and which is the best set of polybushes to get, i have heard superpro are good but are a little bit pricey for me.

Cheers James

This might help you: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f7/polybushes-brand-117153.html

Some are firmer than others, which alters the vehicles handling and they are not affected by oil unlike the land rover metal-astic ones. They are also A LOT easier to remove/fit.

I ended up buying flo-flex ones as they were on offer at the lro show, fitting them at the moment so havn't tested them yet but them all fit perfectly unlike the britpart ones i've fitted to a friend's panhard rod. :D

Cheers just had a browse and found the flo-flex kit for around the £60 mark and the blue polybush kit for about £110 which is quite a lot of difference! lol so i'm not sure which is the better make anyone got any expereince using either of theses two kits?

Cheers James

am using the floflex or deflex orange bushes on my 110 (think they are the same just rebranded but could be wrong) and have been fine so far. done about 5k miles but no major laning off roading yet.

I have blue polly bushes on my 101, they have been on about 5 years and not worn out yet(they will now i said that) and a friend of mine put orange ones on his 90 and he replaced them last year totaly shot:D. we do about the same mileage

Deflex (orange/red) are crap. Same composition as flo-flex I do believe. Did about 4k miles on them before the pan hard bushes collapsed making driving terrible. Go for polybush range (yes that is the brand) they make bushes in 3 hardness levels. Usually around £100 -130 a set but outlast most others by miles. MM 4x4 are doing some really funkcy lime green bushes atm. not sure on quality but nice colour lol
