Poly bushes, need to declare?

As above, thinking about fitting polybushes simply because of the ease of fitting but do you need to declare them to your insurance company?

May as well give them a ring to find out, saves finding out when it's too late.

Isn't the general consensus that genuine parts are far better than polybushes anyway? Just saying

Is there anyway of fitting standard rubber bushes without a press?

Havent had a problem with my polybushes, or kits Ive fitted on my S2a.
Having said that Ive not really had a prob with metalastic either, except that they are bastids to fit.

You can improvise wit a big vice and a socket or similar. Getting them out is worse in my experience.

stout bolt, bit o metal plate and wind them in, worked for my trailing arms, I also warmed the arm and cooled the bush

Maverick451, did you inform the insurance? Am considering poly bushes but won't bother me erse if I have to tel insurance. Cpould swing it one way or another for me.

I went and declared everything even stickers and bonnet pins lockers wheels tyres suspention winch ect , took mine from 700 to 800 ( I'm 23)
