this summer i want to replace the bushes on my defender i hear all stories about jammed stud's if after cleaned soaked ect if stuck any one know of the best solution im thinking eletric hacksaw cut the buggers any better ways idears appreciated joe
 
yep, you can either burn em out of you can drill em out or you can saw em out with an electic/air hacksaw. burning them out is easier as this also heats up the metal sleeve that needs to be removedif you cant get the sleeve out after you have removed the innards then cut it down its length with a hacksaw and knock it out

That's how ah did mine:D burnt thum out, hacksawed the remaining sleeve (top and bottom cos it was a **** tae hammer out!!!) then a clean with sum fine wet'n'dry and the jobs a good un;) :D
