Hey there LandyZoners!

Say hello to my newest project, it’s a TD5 90 which I’m currently renovating and learning a lot along the way. The Haynes manual is now a daily read .

After replacing the copper contacts in the starter motor and giving it a long overdue service, it’s starting to come back to life. My next job is to replace the fuel injector seals/washers as well as the rocker cover gasket and grommets, I cannot wait to get stuck in

At the weekend I changed the wheels and tyres over to some Cooper STT Pros which produce far less road noise than the big off road tyres that came on the Landy.

This summer I’m planning a trip through France into Switzerland and down to Italy. My roof tent has arrived and I’m waiting on a rack from MCB 4x4 to mount it to. I even slept in the roof tent on my lawn as I couldn’t wait to give it a try haha. If anyones done this route or similar before, it would be great to hear your stories or recommendations!

Anyway, I’m trying to think of a good name for the Landy so any suggestions are welcome!

Here are a few photos, thanks for reading!

How about Wallet. It’s got an ability to look after your money for you.
Looks like a cracking Landy. Keep the updates coming.

Bin the Haynes manual, they are shockingly bad and inaccurate, plus you have the added bonus of lots of the images are flipped / reversed or for LHD vehicles, which makes things fun, seriously they only good as firelighters. get yourself a LR workshop manual, and wiring diagrams downloadable here:
