not me thats failed its the way of the world now i was made homeless due to a cpo order gone wrong and couldnt get rochdale council to do a fekkin thing for me while i wa living on the ir carpark in the back of a ****ty old van i had

kept pestering the houseing staff as i was told i had to do and watched them practically give any asian or muslim everything and anything they wanted straight away like some kind of reverse racism

i got ****ed off with that and drove one night to the opposite end of manchester into a non asian area and within 3 months got a job somewhere to live set meself up settled down basically got up off my arse that was 7 years ago and now i have a family of 3 soon to be 4 in may and restoring a series 3 landy

falling on yer arse is not a failiure
not getting back up after youve fallen is a failiure :cool:

I tried getting hold of that cammo paint, was told its hard to get.

something about 2 colours at once I think..

seeeereusly,
my son has painted all sorts of VW`s, baja buggy`s and scooters of various types with matt black, satin black, and both nato cammo and UK type cammo.

He, and myself have mopped up proppa colours on cars & scoots,
we buy the mopheads
(no not mopeds)
from our local friendly car paint & panel centre, and use a speed controler drill and "adapter" to hold the mops.
( i have even used a single speed heavy duty drill, but through a home made speed controller made from a household lighting dimmer switch)
not as good as a professional mopping tool, but does the job.

good luck, and dont forget to read the Instructions on the tins regarding watering the mops well!!

all depends how far you want to go

you dont need a machine, it can all be done by hand, but obviously on real old/faded paint work , a machine buff is better/needed

but..

wash
clay bar
g3 scratches and swirl
then farclia paint renovator
autogym super resin polish
then a wax

liquid waxes are ok,easy to put on, but..ive found the tinned simoniz caranuba wax, £7.99 in halfords, is by far the best shine and durability, although a ball ache to do a whole car, it lasts 5 times longer than any liquid wax ive tried

also a tip...paints4u.com , buy a tin of touch up paint in your color-ive found the ones ive tried to be perfect match, its £10 odd, and a little paitn brush , carefuly paint in a deep scratch with it , leave for a week or 2 , it will look rough of course but dont worry, after the paints settled for a a week or 2, then g3 it gently by hand with a waffle pad, and it will blend in nicely and youl be quite amazed how good it looks !
