Hi guys, just a quick one. After changing my compressor valve block I've been plagued with problems. First was the rear bags started leaking which I've changed, then the compressor seems to be running a bit too long and now it's sat down on the drivers side. I'm gonna put two new height sensors on and maybe change the compressor to a spare I've got but I've a feeling that maybe I've plugged the three block connectors back in wrong. Looking into the compressor has anyone got a diagram of the correct colour of plug to the correct socket it needs plugging into. Just my luck now that it's decided to snow and I'm in my wifes Suzuki Swift. Blooming car.lol Cheers all..

you can guide yourself after the wire colours in nteh diagram to make sure but i think the attachments are enough... better download yourself a RAVE ;)

Cheers for that, I've sussed out what the problem was, me being a complete muppet. After changing the bags I thought I'd got them to sit right but never checked after the wheels went back on, the driverside bag has now got a lovely big hole in it through me not paying attention. What a waste but guess I'm just relieved it didnt pop at speed. Lesson well and truly learned...

Hi Carlos,
Just so I and others don't make the same mistake, what exactly had you done wrong to damage the bag. Put it on twisted?
Cheers,
Griff

Hi mate, yeah sort of. As ur probably aware the bag sort of folds into itself and slides in and out of itself, if you don't make sure the bottom of the bag where it meets the mounting goes up centrally into the bottom, the bag will bulge and snake out to one side and wear through on the chassis as mine did. I followed the brilliant guide on here and partially inflated the bag first by raising the axle and made sure it was sat correctly but didn't do a final check when the wheels hit the tarmac. Won't be making that mistake again..

Quick follow up and some more queries lol. After changing the height sensors the ride height at the back is now approx 1 to 1.5 inch higher than before. Is there an actual height from the floor to the wheel arch and does it have to go on testbook to reset or can it be done with nanocom or similar? The reason I ask is the suspension feels quite hard now which I suppose will happen if the bags are blown up too much (my way of thinking of how the bags work, probably wrong). The other is when I turn off the car, after a few seconds the compressor kicks in, not every time and sometimes it kicks in a couple of times before stopping, I always thought that the car was just levelling itself up but apparently it's not meant to do that, it's always done it since I bought it 14 months back. I mentioned this on someone elses post but wondered if anyone else has had this problem and how it was sorted. I'm wondering if a bad earth behind the glovebox might be the problem, I also have the dreaded three amigos on starting but that clears after I turn off the ignition and back on again. No codes were showing last time it was plugged in but it did say something about a bad reading "cam bus" or something I think. Cheers all.
