1999 Discovery 2 Base model S. I am gradually re building/re conditioning my discovery and so far have managed all of the basics. All Fluids changed, greased everywhere, new Windscreen wiper motor, Fixed spot lamp wiring/switch,brand new brakes front and rear, Tow bar fitted, EGR gone, about to fit a de cat through pipe, rear adjustable shocks to fit, front and rear diff guards and sticky door locks fixed. To look at, she now just looks the same as the day I bought her, except that everything works, for now.
Now for the upgrades. I have read lots of threads concerning the plug & play extras that are available and I understand that the Discovery is pre wired to accept virtually any factory fit accessory. The first will be the Cruise Control which looks really easy to fit and is a useful addition for me, and I would like to add the remote radio controls to the steering wheel as well. Is anyone else aware, or have they fitted any other simple bolt on extras that can improve the comfort or looks of their Discovery? I want to do more, just not aware of what may be possible.
