Good Evening LandyZone
Long time driver, first time user of LandyZone!
I was wondering if anyone could help me? I have a Freelander 07 Plate.
Constant whining from the power steering, Move the wheel and power steering pump whines its nuts off. Drive down the road and i could lose all power steering completely and then it comes back! This doesn't happen all the time donut get me wrong but the whine is now driving me up the bloody wall!
I have spoken to a few people and I'm getting very mixed reports.
One person says just replace the power steering pump.
another says the steering rack is screwed along with the power steering pump and they suggest replace the lot and if i don't replace the steering rack and only replace the pump it will do it again which would be fine if money grew on trees or it said HSBC on my forehead! ARGHH!!
Has anyone ever had this problem? can anyone advise?
