PLEASE HELP JUDDERING AND LIGHTS PROBLEM

Hi all please help if you can
i have a disco 2 auto (td5) and it judders bad sometimes and then nothing.
when its ba the 2 x green lights come on (m and s)and the orange engine light.
then it will stop and when re started run but still judder.
one mobile mechanic couldnt find a fault on his plug in pc and said its probably injectors?
but i have used injector cleaner loads...
another when i took it to him the bloody fault disappeared totally??? but now its back
ive had the injector loom in the top cover replaced so its not oil running into the ecu
please please please help...................................

Could ba sticking valve. Are there any other symptoms

can un fine the really bad juddering..... then lights will come on then it will cut out. re start engine and lights will go out but problem still there ????

You need to find somebody with the proper tester dedicated for D2 to read the faut code ... i suppose that the mobile mechanic's tool was some generic OBDII one which doesnt recognise Td5 codes ... without that it's a guessing quest and my guess is crank sensor

which one is the crank sensor ?

The one on the bell housing... though better not replace it just based on my first guess cos there can be many more causes

As @sierrafery has already said in message #4, you really need to get the codes read using a scanner which is known to give you truthful results.
In the worst case, there's always a Land Rover main dealer, but be prepared to dig deep (even sell your soul) for them to plug your vehicle into their Testbook kit.
