Please can someone help me.

You"re probably fed up with members question about fitting a facelift front bumper and lights but I have looked, read and still cannot understand how to fit the electrics, the bumper I can sort out..
I know I have to fit a relay but which colour wires go into the relay and which colours go out of the relay and do I fit the relay where the other relay is..
If anyone has a simple hand drawn wiring diagram showing which coloured wire goes from a pre facelift to which colour on the facelift I would be eternally garetful.
In the middle of checking her over for her yearly test(MOT) Fingers crossed.

As far as I can see a simple mod to the headlight switch to keep dip on when beam selected and job done. Otherwise wire up indicators, dip beam sides etc as they are now. Check the diagrams I posted for colours on the later car.

You are in luck, looking at circuits, head, dip, beam, side and indicator wiring colours on 2002 and 2004 are identical. Simples !

To keep dip on when main beam selected simply strap pin 1 (Blue) and pin 2 (Blue/orange) on the steering column stalk switch so that when main beam is selected the main beam relay operates and the switch continues to power the dip filaments (rather than it disconnecting them as per original). No extra relays or components required according to my diagrams. Electrically this is identical to pulling the 'flash' switch, both filaments light together. Look at the circuits and satisfy yourself how it all works!
