Just to recap so people dont have to go back through the thread
New wishbones complete with all new bushes
New drop links.
New arb bushes
New lower engine / gear box mount
 
Sump guard captive nuts int captive? Remove sump guard and drive with it oft to see if this sorts the problems. If not then fit guard again.
 
Someone has just said it but track rod ends shoud be checked next. I had a knocking over bumps, experience and reading older posts all pointed to arb drop links and as they were about 15 quid a set I got some. When I went to fit them, found the near side track rod end was rattling like a prick in a shirt sleeve... (Sorry, had to try and match your expression of "bag of knackers"). They're not expensive but you will need to get your tracking done again (as you will have done after replacing the wishbones....)
