plasma rope

just treated meself to a plasma rope and hawse for me winch..i have a question if anyone can help..what regular maintenance do i need to do or how do i clean or protect the rope?..or do i do nothing apart from wash it

You protect it by doing nothing. Just make sure that you don't bird nest it too much cos the drum will cut straight through it. Also avoid running it over sharp edges. They are much stronger and easier to handle than a wire rope but you have to think before using em.
