Pitman / drop arm - manual vs PAS

Hi,
I've swapped my Disco Pitman arm for a Defender one (long and boring story). The arm I've fitted is from a LHD manual steering box I had around; the splines seem to fit but I'm debating getting a new one to fit the PAS box. I'm aware that there are different standards for Adwest vs Gemmer, 3, 4, 6 bolt etc but my question is more basic - is there any difference in length between the manual and PAS arms?

no its shaft diameter ,the 4 bolt pas box drop arm fits, 3 bolt pas box,adwest manual box,the 6 bolt pas box fits the gemmer manual box, or adwest fits any adwest box and gemmer any gemmer box

OK - thankyou. I had wondered if the PAS arms would be longer (to take advantage of the greater power available and get more travel for less output shaft rotation). Having them all the same length simplifies things at least.
