Looking for a new Pierburg fuel pump for my TD4.

I know that Pierburg were bought by TI Automotive. But I have found pumps being sold as PIERBURG, all in capitals.

Is this the same company ?

Worryingly I also found this.......
Car Part Manufacturer PIERBURG
Pierburg is a relatively young Czech company which was only created in 2004. Despite this short history, Pierburg has an excellent reputation of producing quality products.

Can Someone please confirm a seller of the proper pumps and should they now be badged TI Automotive ???

Hi Andy.
Yes Ti Automative are the same pump, pierburg pump 7.50051 1.60 is also the correct one.

Scroll down the listing and it gives all other codes for the same pump but from different manufacturers

Thanks, helpful summary.

I was worried about the PIERBURG with capitals being formed in 2004 in Czech. Is this the same company as the original??

Anyone know.

So bought this, having checked with the supplier that it was genuine.
Plain box, no embossed part number but a Pierburg logo transfer on the case. See photos. I am checking with Pierburg GmbH in Germany if this is authentic. It is a nightmare buying parts, so much rubbish about and I think this is an add on logo. Anyone??DSC_0160.JPGDSC_0161.JPG

I hope you have some luck with it Andy.

I've been having my fair share of issues with the wife's Audi A5. It came to us with some pretty rubbish headlamps for HID. So I replaced the bulbs with some very expensive Osram DS3s, only seeing a tiny improvement in light output. I also kept getting a lamp failure warning, so checked the ballast units, only to find they were Amazon specials. So I ordered a pair of supposedly OE ballasts, which cured the random bulb warning, but now the lights are about 30% dimmer, and they're not exactly bright to start with. It seems that OE just doesn't mean OE, more just a gamble.
