I've got to get out to the plains again soon, still suffering from last time though, need new aux belt tensioner bearing, and water pump due to bearing failure. Oh, and the starter of course. All came about after wading through **** at Salisbury Plain ;)

Parts are due next week, so should be good to go again soon :D

Just a quick question as there is no real answer on the forums, what lift and size wheels do you guys have? I ask as I'm want to get my disco ready for greenlaning and off roading, I no longer need it for my drive to work.

Not yet seen pics of the plains but if that's them then they look class! Will have to get down sometime, only have around 10 lanes in good old wetwang!

Cheers bud. I was already looking at 2" lift but hadn't thought of body lift.

you might aswell do a body lift from the very start and then everything else you do can be made to fit around it.

a fairly major failure of mine when i think, becuase now there is too much corrective work to do with bumpers etc and i cba with that but should have done it as the very first job!

also MUCH easier for rust repairs!!
