I didn't get the part numbers, I'll post them up when I buy them but there pretty easy to find, they are held on with 3 clips so I think they may just pull up, should be pretty self explanatory once you have the new ones in your hand I hope, also the trims between the doors are only £20+vat each as well, mine are ok at the minute but its just a matter of time lol

Aye it would make sense
Can someone tell me what the gap between the centre of the wheel and the arch should be on the rear at standard height (hse with 19"wheels as I don't know of its sitting a bit low at the back) probably just being paranoid I think lol

Yep 10mm lower at the rear

Didn't have a tape measure to hand but had a quick check with a bit of string and it look like the rear suspension is about 2cm lower than the front so out by 1cn, what would cause this? Cheers James

Depends on how long it has been sitting there since the last auto leveling event...

Run the car for 10 minutes with a door open, then select high ride height, close the door, let it raise....now open the door and select Normal ride height, close the door and let it settle back down, now remeasure...if it is still out, it could probably do with a Recalibration....

I'll give that a try, Does that just reset everything? If it needs re calibrating is that a diagnostic machine job? In loving this site already, it's great for a paranoid freak like me, I'm convinced I can hear a wheel bearing noise today lol, i do the wife's head in

Doesn't reset - just ensures the car has adjusted to what it thinks is the correct ride height....

The Eas System relevels every few minutes when the engine is running or after braking to a stop, and with the engine off it relevels to its lowest corner once all the doors have been closed and then every 6 hours or so....

By raising the car and then lowering back to standard you are ensuring the car is where it thinks it should be.

+1 to Hippo - Calibration is diagnostics only.

So iv just ran it with the door open and these are the results at standard height

NSF 74.5 cm
OSF 72.7 cm
NSR 70.5 cm
OSR 70.5 cm

Can't understand the differences in the front, does it sound like I just need it recalibrating or is it something else? cheers

No Leave Engine Running....

Run Engine
Leave Door Open 10 minutes
Select High Ride Height
Close Door
Allow to rise
Open Door
Select Normal Ride Height
Close Door
Let Settle
Open Door to lock in the settled height
Measure

Oh and don't be sitting in the car during the leveling

Results are the same as above, spoke to mate at landrover, he said dont sorry about it but I want it right, will a recalibration see it right or will it need new parts do you think?

If it rises and falls well enough - all should be fine mechanically and electrically...

Suspension bags do have a life of around 8 years....

A recalibration will do no harm other than to affirm the ride heights are correct plus the expense of course - I was charged £75 from a friendly Dealer, was going to be an hours Labour around £120, but they only spent 20 minutes on it as they said is was working well, so we comprimised at £75....

If anyone local to you has the Faultmate or All Comms they could pop round and do it for a few tokens, a cuppa and posh biscuits!!
