pic wanted

can anyone upload a pic ot the o/s engine mount on a L series freelander,

finally got the engine in and the box attached but the mount dont seem to line up, so thinking the rover 200 mount is different.

this ahs also made the ird box fail to line up on the bottom mount.

Which mount do you mean?

Upper tie rod and lower tie rod are longer in the hippo, possibly the same for the both the k-series and L-series

They are around £35 new, scrappers should have some. Have you nothing from your old petrol hippo. Bracket on the L-series block will be different than the K-series

Have you welding gear?, old school minis and classics have fabricated mounts to chassis for the k-series

thats the bottom tie bar?

need the pic from the upper alloy bracket, on the k series it is a 2 hole/bolt fixing to trhe engine but the L series its 3. is this the same on the freelander mount?

No bracket is different

bugger, thought i would of had it done this weekend.

the way its going will be breaking it for spares lol

can anyone help me out with the pic??? spoke to a 4x4 breakers who said mounts are the same
