LOL!!! You have my sympathy (& first bid too!) I had 3 of those steaming piles of ****e. I was actually
glad when some scrote smashed my kitchen window & nicked it!!!

The P900 is a very good phone & it does all manner of other stuff I dont need. The main one for me is the
size, i hate tiny little phones, i lose them & they never work right!

I think you could be on to a winner with the wrecking of stuff you hate & videoing it for eBay. Could
make a few quid for charities & also vent your spleen on a regular basis ;~)

I once chainsawed a Christmas gift that none of us could work out how
to get working. Did it in exactly the way I tell people never, ever
to use a chainsaw (very, very drunk, at midnight, in the snow, in the
back garden, without any protective gear).

'different' mate. The world is full of 'real' weirdos as it is, midnight chainsaw action is **** all
mate! If I had one, I'de use it to make sandwhiches with! ;~)

Lol. Reminds me why I don't buy Ericsson phoes. I've been stung
before.

I'm surprised it didn't crush it first time. Perhaps the ground
pressure on a 101 with those huge tyres isn't that high. Try putting
your foot underneath it some time Martyn

Nice one.

Which reminds me why I've gone back to an old Nokia 6210 after having a
Samsung, 2 Phillips, a Sendo, an LG and a few other 'feature' phones.
At least now I can use it as a reliable modem and it connects and
synchronises with the laptop much more reliably, quicker and easier and
overall a much 'nicer' phone.

Think I might try the newer version next ... ;)

Maybe but I get peed of with technology for technologies sake as well.
I want a phone to make voice phone calls, reliably, not play games or
take grotty photos. The only extra feature I wanted on my current
phone was it's ability to send/receive email "out of the box" trouble
is that brought with it all the other rubbish.

And I went back to a 6310i after trying a 6610i. Child's plaything.

LOL, retro technology ..

I went back to the 6210 'cos we had one lying around, not used, for about
three years. We started it up and it works absolutely fine, after I
unlocked it, and is a real pleasure to talk to people with, unlike some of
the crackly, dis-jointed conversations I've had with 'better' phones.

We did think we might buy a 6310, but this old one works so well we can't
be arsed, we just need a new battery for it .. ;)

's true, mind. But then again, my latest one has an alarm clock which is
sometimes handy, and even the crappy pictures are better than no picture at
all.

Currently using a reliable, albeit with a knackered battery, T39 :)

I may transcribe the latest 'chat' with a 'salesperson' who knows
everything in the history of everythingness about the 'features' of
all new phones, but can't tell me which one is the best for making
"telephone calls". This 'chat' was terminated with me shouting:
"I DON'T WANT A F*****G CAMERA"

I can cope with the despair; it's the hope...
