Phone cradle

I've just purchased a 2007 L322 3.6V8. I'm very pleased with the vehicle but need the help of the on line gurus re what to do about the phone cradle. I would like to be able to connect my Samsung s4 into the present system before i fall foul of the police. I've tried to connect via blue tooth but it reads on the screen no phone.

Can anyone help please.

think you'll find you need to make your phone visible in the bluetooth settings and pair it to the system in the motor

Have you read the manual for the audio system ?

Yes reread this morning and still no response. Its not looking like I can connect via bluetooth so now relying on getting a cradle to fit RR and Samsung S4 if anyone has knowledge how to do that.

Keeping off your phone whilst driving is another option.

Yep I could but I would rather have it working. Thanks anyway for the obvious advice.

Have you tried pairing another phone to check its not just your one causing issues ?

Good point I'll do that now. I believe your right about the cradle and in that case is there anything else I could do to have it working.

Have just returned from a auto electrician who has enlightened me to how best I can take this forward. The answer is a parrot system as the 2007 RR that I have is outdated re blue tooth etc. At least now i know and thanks for the suggestions.
