    I m just worst case scenario crank shaft like you say best to open the engine up hope it doesn't look like a bucket of smashed crabs in there lol
    Yeah the iid diognostic would be very handy or when it's all back together you could come for holiday in Wales we could plug yours in cheeky aren't I , and ov course some off roading
    ;)

    wondering if u would be so kind to post up some pics when u open the engine , plse , fingers crossed it isn't to serious

    now that sounds very tempting for a nice break away , would have to bring my best friends though , plus i wonder how jobs i could get done with a 2 x post ramp, lol

    Yeah il post all the pics every stage , yeah definitely bring your two mates I had an Newzeland huntaway few years ago lovely dogs , and a black lab when I was younger lovely dogs ,
    Yeah fill your boots on the ramp can do loads with them will be in contact soon with pics

    There's no need to lift the body off the chassis to change the engine. It can be pulled out the front, once the front panels are out the way. ;)
    Is it actually worth changing the engine on a 2005 RRS. If you are spending £3K+ on an unknown replacement engine, is it really worth it?
    It would be more cost-effective to part it out and look for another that doesn't need major surgery.
