Im affraid lads im gonna have to pull out of this 1 :( checked the front prop this afternoon after feeling some vibration and ive got a bearing on its way out, the tranfere output shaft to prop shaft! I replaced both the ujs the other week as 1 decided to give up (my own fault for buying cheap ujs!) and thought this was the prob again, apparently not!

Grrr hate to miss out too, wanted another go at stile end :(

Anyone got any tips on how to replace the bearing and where to get the parts much appreciated too ;)

You'll smash that bearing off in one night you know!

Yeh, looks quite easy to do, gonna order it tmoz (payday and totaly skint till then!) and hopfully it will be here for monday got day orf (supposadly for house stuff) so maybe able to get it sorted then, if not ill have to do it sat morn and be a late arriver!
Fingers crossed lads

Pete, let me know if you want a hand with it on Monday. I'm free all day. Well, reasonable, you'll have to ply me with tea and biccies lol.

Haha! Thanks for the offer dave, will let you know, turns out the bearing is a common part, spoke a fella at work and we may well have one in the maintenance stores so gonna have a dig tmoz, if not ill be able to get 1 at city seals and bearings just got to source an oil seal now :)

Take ure big hammer Dave no point hitting summets twice if you can hit it hard the once !! Oh yeh make sure Pete holding chisel !! Lol

If it makes you feel better Pete, I've gotta change my front diff, replace the rear diff seal and check and fix a new noise on my landy before the lakes. Work starts tomorrow night after work. Replacement diff I got tonight, ready to be checked then fitted.
Bring it on!

Front diff swapped tonight went like clockwork. Didn't have the right seal as the one I've fitted was a single lip one, so that will be swapped next when I pick the proper seals up on Saturday.
Didn't get chance to check for the latest noise. But managed to service the land last week so that's another job done.

Serviced, washed and polished....
Ready to roll other than loading up. :D
