PAS pump!!!

Just took my Landie for a new windscreen, on the way back the power steering made a clunk then no assistance!

Had a look, seems the pump wasn't working anymore! Put the old one back on (I took it off because I thought it was leaking from the spindle, it wasn't it was leaking from the union, I should have just left alone! Lol)

It's a Britpart pump less than a thousand miles old!

It just stopped pumping anything out, still spins fine, no noises, what could have failed in it?

all of it its **** part mine did the same ,wont fit ****part anymore

I spent 200 quid for an OEM pump at the main stealer after reading horror stories on here.
2 months later its weeping slightly from the back seal and out of the hole in the casting. Not sure if can be arsed to return it.....

britpart stuff seems to be getting bad press,worth avoiding then

The original one was leaking out the spindle so needs replacing, Grrr!

I hate doing a job 3 times!

Ordered an OEM quality pump from John Craddocks today, Paddocks only sell Britpart rubbish so sending the pump back to them for a refund.
