tried 2 new ****part fuel tank senders in my defender 90 both did not work
bought a new genuine land rover unit works fine,it was twice the price of the ****part ones ,it doesnt give you much faith in their parts :(

Things like bearings, seals, ball-joints, etc. I wouldn't trust Britpart. I'll go for better quality aftermarket stuff (eg. Lemforder ball-joints) or genuine.

It's a false economy in my book - buy cheap, buy twice - or some such bollox. :)

What pee'ed me off recently was purchasing a component, advertised as "OEM". When it turned up it was Britpart! Waste of money as I'm not going to fit it. :(

britpart do genuine rtc3429G for £8 this proper timken brg so do bearmach i use them all the time but dont use the their own brand rtc3429 (stc4382) £5

personally the only problems i have had with britpart was a tail light, the pins didnt line up exactly, Everything else i bought britpart has been fine, and i work my landy hard off road and nothing has worn out prematurely or broke

i bught an ignition modual off them cowboys which had to consist of an adapter lead cos it was a new revised part so cost 55 smackers, went to put it on my dizzy i only spent 6 hours trying to get the bastard thing going again still wouldnt run untill i went round to a mates and nicked the old one off his stuck it on and it fired up first time. sent the part back to ****part and they sed i cant have my money back cos they have tested it and it works??????????????? ****ers

So when an OE manufactured item turns up in a Britpart box you wouldn't fit it because of the box?
I have been using Britpart for many years and never had a problem. During that time many of the items have been of OE manufacture (the manufacturers marks in the castings or stamped on the item are a dead giveaway) and have done exactly the same job as the original item.

never had a problem with allmakes parts
shartpart well what can i say!
4 LR spares is a good internet based company brought lots of parts from him always reasonable prices
