Hi folks.

I'm just about to purchase the pistons and seals for the calipers on me '92 3.9 and I have notices a slight differences in the part numbers. Can someone explain:

Pistons: 606683 and 606683G

Seal set:AEU1547 and AEU1547G

Microcat doesn't recognise the numbers with the G Suffix. I have a 606683 and it doesn't seem to fit on a test install.

i Have solid discs

g is used as a suffix by britpart to show its a genuine part and not a pattern so is not part of lr number ,front and rear calipers have different length of piston while diameter is the same ,110 defender is only caliper than uses larger diameter piston

oh yeah, i noticed that the old inner seal has a little line around it to fit into the inner part of the bore. The new seals don't seem to have this. Is this problem?

The seal parts I have are AEU1547

the inner most seal is plain square section ,outer seal is dirt seal and has a c section shape, once inner seals aere fitted drag your finger from inside out and you should feel edge of seal ,pistons will have to be dead square to push in lubricate with a little brake fluid
